About the Role

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Business Sales Consultants (BCs), inspiring and motivating them to sell PEO services to small and mid-size companies within a designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal recruiting to cultivate a list of potential BCs and ensure the team remains fully staffed.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration to combine skills and achieve greater organizational results.
  • Work with BCs to properly pre-plan and execute field sales calls.
  • Perform post-call analysis and develop forward strategies with BCs.
  • Help BCs build proposals tailored to prospects' key needs.
  • Ensure BCs routinely track prospect progress in SFDC and maintain up-to-date information.
  • Monitor BC performance to consistently achieve or exceed minimum activity requirements: 16 initial appointments, 4 RFPs, and 1 closed deal per month.
  • Develop effective relationships with centers of influence to supplement lead sources.
  • Achieve and exceed quota assignments.
  • Develop BCs' knowledge of PEO sales to foster growth and new achievements.
  • Accurately forecast month-to-month business in SFDC.
  • Motivate positive performance in all team members and support them in taking initiative and accepting responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical discipline and/or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven history of B2B sales success.
  • 3+ years of documented, successful sales management experience with year-over-year growth.
  • Ability to deal with employees in an efficient and professional manner.
