POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new revenue by winning new customers and expanding opportunities within existing accounts
  • Possess a consultative sales approach focused on solving customer production challenges
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and territory development
  • Identify production and material handling challenges and recommend consultative conveyor solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying new applications, projects, and departments
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from discovery to order placement
  • Collaborate with engineering and internal sales teams to develop effective technical solutions
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and activity tracking in CRM
  • Travel throughout the territory to support customers and identify new opportunities

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1–5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability or strong interest in prospecting and developing new business
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to use a consultative selling approach to understand customer challenges and recommend solutions
  • Interest in manufacturing, automation, and material handling systems
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable with outbound outreach
  • Coachable, organized, and motivated by performance and growth
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% within the territory

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, or be mobile for up to an eight-hour shift
  • Bend, twist and reach with arms and hands
  • Dexterity with fingers to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls
  • May occasionally need to lift or move up to 50 pounds

Work Environment

  • Extensive travel is required, often via commercial airline carrier
  • Office & factory or facility shop floor
