About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new RainSoft dealers and assisting with the start-up of new dealers and distributors' locations throughout the North Atlantic region. This includes building strategies for acquiring new customers and facilitating ongoing product knowledge sessions with Home Depot Store Managers. The role also involves conducting and orchestrating regional sales meetings, team calls, and conventions.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new RainSoft dealers and assist with the start-up of new dealers and distributors' locations throughout the North Atlantic region (NC, VA, WV, MD, PA, NJ, DE, NY, VT, CT, ME, MA, NH, & RI).
  • Support dealer and distributor success within the region by consulting to develop and grow revenue for the region overall.
  • Train internal and external partners (dealers, etc.) on how to demonstrate product features and benefits using a prepared, professional iPad presentation.
  • Conduct in-field training with outside sales representatives by performing in-home sales presentations and observing others.
  • Work closely with Home Depot Store Managers and personnel to build a strategy/plan for acquiring new customers and facilitate ongoing product knowledge sessions.
  • Work cross-functionally with RainSoft regional training support, marketing, and product management personnel.
  • Be a key partner in establishing dealer and distributor success within the region.
  • Travel a minimum of 26 weeks per year to distributor's locations for on-site consulting, recruiting, hiring, and training inside and outside sales representatives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in either direct home sales and/or residential water treatment sales/sales management with heavy emphasis on recruiting, hiring, training, and management of outside sales representatives.
  • A strong, documented background in sales/sales management, specialized leadership, and sales training.
  • An earned bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) is preferred.
  • A strong background in lead generation for direct sales model and experience demonstrating this.
  • A thorough understanding of company P&Ls.
  • Water Treatment Business Management experience would be preferred.
  • Great people skills and business development experience.
  • Experience facilitating sales seminars, awards presentations, and sales conventions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Pay

The anticipated total compensation range for this position is from $118,400 - $219,900 per year. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Schedule

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives.
