Regional Sales Consultant, North American
About the Role
Responsible for North American (NA) Company annuity sales by contacting distribution partners, marketers, and/or agents either by phone or email to promote products and maximize sales productivity. Respond to distribution partners, marketers, and/or agent requests regarding ongoing marketing support such as product training, staff training, agent training, marketing campaigns, and ongoing incentives. Work with new distribution partners to ensure appropriate training and communication regarding company policies and procedures are effectively incorporated to promote and market North American annuities.
Responsibilities
- Support regional SVP’s, distribution partners, and/or agents in developing, growing, and driving sales for the company.
- Make proactive outbound calls to distribution partners, marketers, and/or agents regarding product education, increasing product awareness, and sales concepts.
- Achieve weekly call goals, log calls daily, and provide pertinent information for goal tracking.
- Proactively make outbound calls to get new agents into production.
- Respond to inbound calls as referred by Sales Support by providing support on products, marketing and sales materials, sales concepts, product education, and advanced illustration support.
- Cultivate and build strong rapport with agents and/or distribution partners to enhance their relationship with North American in an effort to meet the company’s production goals.
- Create and present webinars to educate distribution partners, marketers, and/or agents on product benefits and features, positioning, and current sales ideas and concepts.
- Provide a high level of knowledge and take escalated or detailed case design calls when referred by the sales support team.
- Actively participate in sales and marketing initiatives or other projects, as assigned.
- Occasional travel for IMO and/or agent meetings.
- Deliver presentations to educate agents, MGAs (including marketers) by becoming knowledgeable about the products, sales materials, support services, and sales practices.
- Ensure necessary communications on new policies, procedures, products, rates, etc., are effectively communicated to distribution partners, marketers, and/or respective agents.
- Ensure service issues are forwarded and resolved timely through the appropriate department.
- Keep management informed of any noticeable trends.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Background in life insurance/annuity sales and/or marketing preferred.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships (internally & externally).
- Effective written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices.
- Demonstrate exceptional working knowledge of annuity products.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Series License-63 preferred.
- Series License-6 preferred.

Pay
Base: $57,500 + Sales Incentive
