Regional Sales Agronomist

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete sales calls to maintain current business and expand CFS footprint
• Pre call planning
• Service
• Follow up
• Collaborative on-farm approach
• Proficient in Central Advantage
• Use our internal ag technology platform to make data-based recommendations for our patrons
• Become an expert in Central Advantage philosophies and management recommendations
• Attend regular internal and external agronomy and sales trainings
• Sought individual learning and development opportunities
• Complete agronomy talent development program upon start
• Know and follow CFS agronomy SOPs, BMPs, Credit Policy and other initiatives
• Continually seek and pursue growth of all agronomy products and services
• Build and maintain relationships with growers through service and expertise
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures
• Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance
• Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management, could include agronomy operations

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with haz-mat endorsement, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment

Licensing, Certification And Qualification

• Desired skills and competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Collaborative approach to grower service, Works well in a change environment, Positive attitude, Service mindset

Physical Demands

• Able to get in and out of farm equipment, lift 50 lbs.

Salary

$58,000 to $75,000
