Regional Safety Supervisor
About the role
Gulf Management is seeking an experienced Regional Safety Supervisor to support multiple client locations throughout Arkansas, Tennessee, and northern Louisiana. This role provides Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support by conducting audits, inspections, training, incident investigations, and compliance activities that promote a proactive safety culture across construction and industrial environments. The Regional Safety Supervisor will work closely with company leadership and employees to identify hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Administration and serves as a key resource in helping companies maintain safe and productive operations. Travel between locations is required weekly and on an as‑needed basis. The primary schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings, weekends, and after‑hours incident response as needed. The position operates throughout Arkansas, Tennessee, and northern Louisiana (multi‑site travel required) and is based out of Piperton, TN or Jonesboro, AR.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and job site evaluations
- Identify workplace hazards and develop corrective action recommendations
- Assist with implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow‑up activities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, MUTCD, FMCSA, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Maintain knowledge of changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for management and field personnel
- Create and distribute toolbox talks and monitor program effectiveness
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees
