Regional Safety Specialist - U.S. South
About the role
The Regional Safety Specialist provides hands-on support to ensure safety programs are applied consistently across sites, maintain regulatory compliance, and partner with leadership to identify and reduce risk.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site visits to assess safety performance, ensure compliance, and evaluate control effectiveness
- Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and timely corrective actions
- Identify and mitigate high-risk exposures (machine guarding, lockout/tagout, mobile equipment interactions, dust hazards)
- Cook up and support safety training, including onboarding, refresher, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5 years of industrial safety experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
- Experience in environments with mobile equipment, machinery, energy isolation, and dust-related hazards
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices
- Proven ability to lead incident investigations, assess hazards, and implement corrective actions
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to travel regularly
