About the role
Responsible for overseeing hospice care services in Essex County, managing a team of nurses and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of hospice care services
- Manage a team of hospice nurses
- Ensure compliance with hospice regulations and standards
- Develop and implement hospice care policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff
- Assist with recruitment and training of new staff members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN license in New Jersey
- Minimum of 5 years of hospice or related healthcare experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience in hospice care
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
