About the role
The University of Scranton is seeking a Regional Recruiter for Admissions based in Chicago, IL. This role serves as the primary admissions representative for the region, managing a defined territory to achieve enrollment goals. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic recruitment plan, building relationships with key stakeholders, and guiding students and families through the admissions process.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary admissions representative for Chicago, IL
- Develop and execute territory strategy aligned with enrollment goals
- Conduct high school visits, regional fairs, and recruitment events
- Build and maintain relationships with counselors, advisors, and community partners
- Advise prospective students and families through the admissions process
- Plan events, manage travel, and track outreach activities
- Analyze recruitment data and provide regular reports and recommendations
Requirements
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships and work independently
- Organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred
- Goal-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivated
- Ability to travel, with extensive travel within Chicago; evenings/weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Must reside and work from a home office within the Chicago region

Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred Education: Minimum Job Experience Requirements: At least two (2) years of experience in Admissions, recruitment, or related experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Years of Experience: 2

- FLSA Classification: Exempt
- Schedule/Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Additional hours (including weekends and evenings) as required
- Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time
- Annual Schedule: 12
