ECLARO is seeking a Regional Real Estate Administrator to support our client, America’s largest state power organization and a national leader in energy efficiency and clean energy technology, in White Plains, NY.
About the role
This position provides key support to the Director of Corporate Real Estate in the SENY Region and ongoing real estate expertise for major corporate initiatives and projects. It also offers real estate support and expertise to other client managers in the region.
Responsibilities
- Manage real property assets in support of the client’s operational and safety requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison with third parties seeking to use client real estate assets.
- Support new projects and Vision 2030 Renewed initiatives with a broad range of real estate services.
- Foster and maintain positive property relationships in the assigned region.
- Lead all permitting processes associated with client fee and easement areas in the assigned region.
- Support all new and developing project initiatives in the assigned region with real property information and execution of property agreements.
- Serve as the Real Estate liaison and administrator to internal and external stakeholders, including utility companies, municipal zoning, and planning departments.
- Relay third-party inquiries to internal client stakeholders.
- Represent the Real Estate department at appropriate meetings in and around the assigned location.
Skills
- Ability to work independently with good judgment and detail orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with supervisors or stakeholders.
- Experience in real estate, land acquisition, utilities, or related fields (preferred).
- Experience reading/reviewing title and appraisal documents, maps, and real estate agreements such as easements, leases, and deeds (preferred).
- Strong research skills with experience using county records and property databases (preferred).
- Excellent organizational abilities with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and version control.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, track tasks, and communicate proactively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SharePoint or similar document management platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, consultants, third parties, and external agencies.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in real estate and/or the utility industry.
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Experience maintaining trackers, databases, or project management tools.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar).
- Familiarity with public records, permitting processes, or regulatory environments.
