About the role

The Regional Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of properties, ensuring they are maintained in good condition and financially stable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the financial responsibilities for the portfolio with the assistance of the Investment Managers.
  • Implement the strategic operations for the portfolio at the direction of the Senior Vice President of Residential Property Management.
  • Manage the Personnel responsibilities for the portfolio.
  • Ensure other responsibilities of Community Managers are being carried out properly following company policies and procedures providing support as necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience managing a portfolio of 5 or more communities that are on average 250-unit complexes.
  • Experience with pre-development and lease-up properties.
  • Significant unit renovation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with computers (Word and Excel), Internet and email, and other relevant applications are required.
  • Thorough knowledge of Yardi and property management software, i.e., revenue management, resident screening, utility billing, collections.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exercises problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required and a college degree, CAM, ARM or CCRM designations are preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and after hours as necessary due to emergency or business need.

Schedule

Constant need (50% to 100%) to travel via airplane, train or utilize personal transportation. Must maintain valid driver’s license and car registration and maintain proper automobile insurance if driving a vehicle for business purposes.
