Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage all aspects of event planning including venue selection, logistics, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote events and drive attendance.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to public events.
- Oversee event staff and vendors to maintain high standards of service and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event management or related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale public events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with event planning software such as Cvent or Event Espresso.
- Knowledge of event insurance and risk management practices.
- Understanding of event marketing and promotion strategies.
