Regional Performance Lead & Projects

In Manufacturing & Supply, you'll help reimagine how life-changing treatments reach people everywhere, faster. In collaboration with the Head of North America Market Supply Chain (NAMSC), the role drives the full North America Market Supply organization forward relating to performance across its teams and projects. It is a strategic role that acts as the primary point of connection with global teams, particularly for ad hoc and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drives and supports monthly performance reviews across all NAMSC functions
- Preparation and presentation of monthly performance reviews
- Monitoring and following up of country performance for all SC KPIs (e.g., Service level, OTIF, SPA, MAPE, etc.)
- Alerting Region SC Head and Supply Chain GBU Heads in case of deviations or trend changes, enabling to mitigate associated potential risks
- Leading initiatives to drive continuous improvement in the regional supply chain
- Analyzing data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the supply chain
- Develop & execute action plans across Region, focusing on performance improvements in areas such as Service level improvements, growth enabling and cost reduction
- Coordination with team, surveys across GBUs (e.g., delight survey) to identify customers satisfaction and drive improvement plans
- Define action plans and follow up to strengthen tools, processes, and team capabilities
- Build custom reports/dashboards to communicate insights and trends; perform root cause analyses
- Develop and implement scripts, macros, and other automation to simplify repetitive tasks

Skills/Expertise/Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and relevant experience in the supply chain / manufacturing industry
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in relevant industry
- Strategic thinking - Ability to develop and execute long-term vision
- Change management - Successfully led organizational transformations
- Decision-making - Makes sound judgments under pressure with incomplete information
- Stakeholder management - Builds relationships across all organizational levels
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes
- Understanding of manufacturing finances and processes and ability to apply to supply chain management and changes and improvement projects
- Basic knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements
- Skilled in scenario planning, risk / benefit analysis, contingency planning and problem solving
- Strong willingness to drive change as well as good internal marketing and communication skills
- Excellent systems (SAP and Kinaxis) skills and basic understanding of financial function
- Demonstrated high standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment
- Good team facilitation and relationship building skills
