Responsibilities

• Provides Systems Administration and technical support for all Cardiology Applications, Hardware, Software, Network, DICOM, and HL7.
• Applies in-depth knowledge of CV PACS, DMS, MAC Lab/Cath Lab, and EKG Management System.
• Assists with site upgrades, system health checks, and mentoring of local Tier 1 PACS Administrators in an assigned region.
• Provides after-hours support if needed.
• Requires knowledge of voice recognition systems, Radiology and Cardiology workflow, and HL7 integration methods.
• Assists with analysis, design, testing, and implementing of custom applications and interfaces.
• Supports Director with Procurement and Project management and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
• Occasional travel required for implementations and go-live support.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree in engineering.
• Five (8) or more years of IT-related experience.
• Five (5) or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in Radiology and Cardiology department workflow.
• Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and Hospital operations.
• Experience with PACS systems, Voice Recognition Systems, RIS, CVIS, Interface Engines, and HIS preferred.
