Summary/Objective
The driver is responsible for transporting finished windows to the customers and helping on the line when available.
Essential Functions
- Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company;
- Preparation of finished windows for transportation through appropriate stabilization and safety procedures;
- Delivery of finished windows to customer following approved delivery routes and specified delivery areas;
- Unloading of finished windows at appropriate destination through approved procedures;
- Receipt and delivery of miscellaneous goods as is necessary or assigned;
- Rotation of position into production team structure as necessary;
- Assistance in repair work as necessary;
- Maintenance of good housekeeping practices at all times.

- Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals;
- Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English);
- Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders, and measurements;
- Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects;
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision;
- Must demonstrate competency in transportation and over-the-road responsibilities;
- Must demonstrate welding competency and knowledge of systems;
- Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as is deemed necessary;
- Must be able to operate a Lift Truck or Tractor as necessary;
- Must possess successful problem solving skills;
- Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.;
- Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations;
- Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.
Qualifications
- Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available).
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear;
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling;
- May have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds;
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position. Travel Over the road travel is expected throughout the US (Regional) and occasional local deliveries.
