POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Operations Specialist supports operational performance across a portfolio of communities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Flexibility in scheduling and travel

Specific Education or Experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of multifamily housing experience
  • Experience in leasing, occupancy management, resident services, property operations, or affordable housing
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Two (2) or more years of multifamily housing experience preferred
  • Affordable housing experience including LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Section 8, or layered financing programs preferred
  • Experience supporting or completing recertifications preferred
  • Previous experience supporting multiple communities or serving in a regional, floating, or interim support role preferred
  • Proven success driving occupancy growth, leasing performance, or operational improvement initiatives preferred
  • Experience supporting lease-ups, stabilization efforts, onboarding, or turnaround projects preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking
  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent travel required based on business needs, up to 75-100%
  • Overnight and multi-day travel assignments may be required

SCHEDULE

  • Schedule flexibility is required to support operational and community needs
