We are looking for a dynamic Regional Operations Manager to partner with our supported dental practices and help drive operational excellence, team development, and sustainable growth across a portfolio of 10-15 practices. This is an opportunity for a business-minded leader who thrives on building relationships, developing high-performing teams, and turning strategy into results. You'll work directly with doctors, Office Managers, and support teams to improve performance, strengthen culture, and help practices achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Partner with doctors and Office Managers to drive practice growth, operational excellence, and financial performance.
- Lead the non-clinical operations of 10-15 supported dental practices.
- Analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and implement strategies that improve revenue, profitability, and patient experience.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Office Managers into confident and effective leaders.
- Support workforce planning, recruiting, retention, and team development initiatives.
- Monitor and manage practice performance against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to practice leaders and a key partner in solving operational challenges.
- Lead the implementation of company initiatives, best practices, and growth strategies across the region.
- Build strong relationships and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of multi-site operations leadership experience, preferably in dental, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or another service-based industry.
- Must live in the state of Arizona.
- Up to 70% travel to support practices throughout the region.
- Proven experience leading multi-unit teams, driving operational performance, and achieving growth objectives.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance.
- Demonstrated success coaching and developing leaders.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to analyze data, identify opportunities, and execute effective action plans.
- Proficiency with business systems and practice management software.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Dental operations leadership experience.
- Experience supporting multiple locations in a regional capacity.
- Knowledge of Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar practice management systems.
- Experience in a growth-oriented, multi-site organization.
