Regional Operations Manager

About the role

Great Day Improvements LLC, an innovator and leader in the home remodeling market, is currently seeking a driven and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of the Installation and Operations in our MID-ATLANTIC region. The region covers the ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN & MISSOURI markets and will continue to grow. Great Day Improvements is a vertically integrated company who designs, manufactures, sells and installs the Patio Enclosures™ sunroom products. As a contributing member of our successful Management Team, the candidate will be charged with effectively and successfully managing the Installation/Operations of the three regional branches.

Responsibilities

• Day to day Operations Management of multiple locations
• Job and project management utilizing our in-house CRM system
• Oversee implementation of our customer satisfaction process
• Responsible for job profitability, job costing, budgeting, etc.
• Recruit, hire, and train teams based on capacity needs
• Oversee performance of the teams and train them on proper procedures
• Evaluate and monitor performance and quality standards of sub-contractors
• Oversee training of proper installation procedures for all of company products
• Oversee and perform, if necessary, measures, breakouts and order materials accordingly
• Ensure that safety standards are reviewed and implemented
• Meet with customers to review difficult and/or complicated jobs or to solve difficult service problems
• Maintain a rolling 30-day installation schedule

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in general management, preferably in the remodeling or residential construction industry
• P&L responsibility preferred
• Experienced in team building and management preferred
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
• Must be process oriented
• Excellent customer relations and problem solving skills are required
• Experience in dealing with multiple trades and sub-contractors
• Must be competent in the use of technology; experience with MS Excel a plus
• Must be able to travel (drive) to all locations regularly (up to 25 weeks per year)

Compensation & Benefits

• Generous base salary plus bonus/variable compensation ($80K - $85K salary + performance bonus; top regional operations managers earn $150K+ in their first year)
