About the Role
Great Day Improvements LLC, an innovator and leader in the home remodeling market, is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of Installation and Operations in our Mid-Atlantic region, covering Western Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This position requires regular regional travel to all markets, up to 25 weeks per year. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of multiple locations, ensuring job profitability, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day Operations Management of multiple locations
- Job and project management utilizing our in-house CRM system
- Oversee implementation of our customer satisfaction process
- Responsible for job profitability, job costing, budgeting, etc.
- Recruit, hire, and train teams based on capacity needs
- Oversee performance of the teams and train them on proper procedures
- Evaluate and monitor performance and quality standards of sub-contractors
- Oversee training of proper installation procedures for all company products
- Oversee and perform, if necessary, measures, breakouts, and order materials accordingly
- Ensure that safety standards are reviewed and implemented
- Meet with customers to review difficult and/or complicated jobs or to solve difficult service problems
- Maintain a rolling 30-day installation schedule
- Oversee and participate in obtaining permits, ordering, managing, and scheduling subcontractors
- Plan revenue/profitability and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets
- Review difficult jobs to ensure installation aligns with company guidelines for quality and profitability
- Address customer concerns and review complicated jobs with them
- Responsible for hiring and training the installation team
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general management, preferably in the remodeling or residential construction industry
- P&L responsibility preferred
- Experienced in team building and management
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Process-oriented with excellent customer relations and problem-solving skills
- Experience in dealing with multiple trades and sub-contractors
- Competent in the use of technology; experience with MS Excel a plus
- Must be able to travel (drive) to all locations regularly
Pay
$80K - $85K base salary plus performance bonus. Top regional operations managers earn $150K+ in their first year.
