Regional Operations Director (ROD)

About the role

We are seeking an inspiring and motivated Regional Operations Director to oversee approximately 7-10 dialysis centers and a team of 200+ teammates across a dual-market portfolio (Houston and West Texas).

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of approximately 10-12 direct reports, fostering a "powerhouse" culture dedicated to quality and compliant patient care.
• Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities, monitor division performance, and partner with the Divisional Vice President or SVP to develop competitive strategies aligned with DaVita’s mission.
• Address top growth priorities and patient census; lead successful operational conversions for acquisitions.
• Manage labor budgets, financial revenue growth, and contract management.
• Review, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies, and procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutions.
• Manage financial and revenue growth, operations, and labor management, contract management, and clinical outcomes within the assigned division facilities.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of competition; proactively assess related SWOT (division strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats).
• Lead a growing, socially responsible business that strives to be the role model for American Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-site operational leadership (healthcare experience preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large-scale P&L ($30M+).
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing 10+ direct reports and large frontline teams.
• Ability to travel monthly for multi-day site visits.
