About the role

We are seeking an inspiring and motivated leader to oversee approximately 10 dialysis centers, 200 teammates, and a $30–$50MM P&L. As Regional Operations Director (ROD), you will provide strategic and tactical leadership to field management, ensuring safe, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical patient care. This position identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, monitors division performance, and collaborates with the Divisional Vice President or SVP to align competitive strategies with DaVita’s mission and values. You will have budget and P&L accountability and serve as a key member of DaVita’s field management team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of 10–12 direct reports to ensure quality and compliant patient care.
  • Address top growth priorities, patient census, and lead successful operational conversions for acquisitions.
  • Drive key metrics and outcomes for the assigned book of business.
  • Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for division facilities.
  • Meet labor budget targets.
  • Proactively review, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies, and procedures; identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Manage financial and revenue growth, operations, labor, contract management, and clinical outcomes within assigned facilities.
  • Maintain awareness of competition and assess division strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).
  • Lead a socially responsible business that strives to be a role model for American healthcare.

  • Collaborate with facility administrators (FAs) in clinics to address employee and patient concerns, driving regional goals and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Available for moderate travel (25%–50% overnight).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $130,000.00 – $185,000.00 per year. Compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package, including a 401k match and healthcare coverage.

For location-specific minimum wage details, see the following rates based on exemption status and location:

  • Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year.
  • Washington Non-exempt:
    • Bellingham: $19.13/hour
    • Burien: $21.63/hour
    • Everette: $20.77/hour
    • Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour
    • Renton: $21.57/hour
    • Seattle: $21.30/hour
    • Tukwila: $21.65/hour
    • Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
