Regional Operations Center Specialist I

About the role

This position requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment‑based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. It is suited for a dedicated worker with strong technical skills who is adaptable in quickly changing environments and a reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 incident management for the hybrid‑fiber coaxial (HFC) plant network using national tools and processes.
• Monitor plant performance to ensure optimal service delivery to customers.
• Dispatch maintenance teams to resolve outages and address network impairments.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic HFC‑related issues to help customers get back online.

Requirements

• Legal ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• At least 1 year of cable/telecommunications experience (field operations or maintenance technician) or dispatch, call‑center tier, or help‑desk support experience.
• Solid understanding of HFC network concepts, DOCSIS, and end‑user support principles.
• Proficiency with tools used to troubleshoot basic HFC issues.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and quick learning ability.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities; works well on teams.
• Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two‑year degree or certificate with a telecommunications or IT emphasis.
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Pay

Base pay generally ranges from $20.00 to $29.15 per hour, with additional incentive‑based compensation such as bonuses considered based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Schedule

Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
