Regional Nursing Director

About the role

The Regional Nursing Director (RND) contributes to AHF by projecting and integrating the AHF Mission and Core Values, as well as AHF’s Management Philosophy, in the nursing leadership of the Healthcare Centers (HCCs). The RND enhances AHF’s reputation by providing direction, training, and clinical support to all HCC clinical staff regarding performance and provision of patient care services to achieve clinical excellence in accordance with internal and external requirements and standards. The RND supports a nursing environment where interdepartmental collaboration is valued, and excellence in clinical care and education is promoted and achieved. You will serve as a passionate advocate for AHF’s top initiatives, ensuring the AHF Core Values and Mission remain central to all actions.

AHF operates in a dynamic environment, requiring adaptability to provide the best experience for clients and a supportive workplace for employees. The organization has a collaborative structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The RND will work as part of a close-knit team to manage budgets, emergency response and crisis management, technology integration, and ethical decision-making. The role demands flexibility and professionalism, particularly in high-stress environments requiring immediate attention.

Travel within the assigned Bureau is required to maintain regular in-person oversight of Healthcare Centers, with frequency determined by operational needs and Department of Nursing and bureau priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, training, and clinical support to HCC clinical staff to ensure excellence in patient care services.
• Promote and uphold AHF’s Mission, Core Values, and Management Philosophy in all nursing leadership activities.
• Foster interdepartmental collaboration and a culture of clinical excellence and education.
• Advocate for AHF’s top initiatives while keeping the organization’s Core Values and Mission at the forefront.
• Manage budgets, emergency response, crisis management, and technology integration.
• Ensure ethical decision-making in all aspects of the role.
• Travel to all Healthcare Centers within the assigned Bureau as needed for oversight and support.

Requirements

• Active Multistate RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay

Salary Range: $135,000–$145,000
