About the role
Pinnacle Health and Rehab at South Portland is a 73-bed skilled and long-term care facility seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, be intuitive, and enjoy caring for both staff and residents with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Manages the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with facility policies, standards of nursing practices, and government regulations.
- Affirms that quality care is delivered in an efficient and compassionate manner.
- Advocates for excellent resident care.
- Exhibits excellent customer service skills and clear communication abilities.
Requirements
- RN License in Maine
- 2 years or more experience as a Director of Nursing preferred
- Management experience in a skilled facility setting, 2 years preferred
