About the role
Atria Senior Living is seeking a Regional Life Guidance Director to support Life Guidance (LG) communities and teams. This individual will ensure quality care and services are provided to Life Guidance residents across multiple communities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate sales and community operations of the entire Life Guidance Neighborhood, including maintenance, housekeeping, culinary, care, staffing, and programming/activities.
- Partner and provide ongoing feedback on Life Guidance programs, including national initiatives for LG.
- Optimize all programming opportunities while maintaining positive teamwork and results between Engage Life and Life Guidance teams.
- Assist in the training of new Life Guidance staff in all functional areas of the Neighborhood.
- Ensure that all assigned communities follow Life Guidance policies and practices related to all functional areas.
- Support and coach community Life Guidance staff in assigned communities to ensure the creation and administration of a well-rounded calendar of events, safety, cleanliness, dining experience, appropriate care, and proper storage of chemicals.
- Ensure that program standards are being met in all functional areas.
- Partner and support training LG staff on tour and sales standards.
- Collaborate with Engage Life for program development and program support.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in gerontology, behavioral health, social work, recreation, fitness, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Dementia certification preferred.
- At least four (4) years of leadership experience with Memory Care / Dementia.
- Past experience programming for independent, assisted living, and dementia care is a must.
- Knowledge of and experience in the maintenance, housekeeping, nutritional, and care needs of seniors in a Memory/Dementia environment.
- Multi-site and supervisory experience with program planning.
- Experience rolling out, training, and implementing new programs.
- Strong computer skills.
- Compelling presentation and training skills.
- Must be organized, deadline-driven, results-orientated, creative, and enterprising, and have strong sales skills.
- Will be required to travel 80% of time on behalf of Company.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Company Motor Vehicle Policy standards and Travel policy.
