Description Specialization: Internal Medicine Job Summary: HCA Hospital Based Services is seeking is seeking an experienced physician leader to serve as Regional Medical Director for Hospital Medicine across a five-hospital region in North Florida and the Florida Panhandle. Covered Facilities: HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital – Niceville, FLHCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital – Fort Walton Beach, FLHCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital – Panama City, FLHCA Florida Lake City Hospital – Lake City, FLHCA Florida North Florida Hospital – Gainesville, FL Position Overview The Regional Medical Director serves as the senior physician leader for Hospital Medicine programs throughout the region. This role provides strategic clinical, operational, quality, and professional leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while aligning hospitalist program performance with organizational and division goals. The Regional Medical Director partners closely with site chiefs, hospital executives, division leadership, and physician teams to drive clinical excellence, operational consistency, quality outcomes, provider engagement, and program growth across all facilities.
