Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Oversee MDS nurses and departments at each facility in the state of Rhode Island
- Track and trend CMI to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Accurately and timely complete MDS assessments and care plans
- Provide guidance and support to MDS nurses and departments to improve care outcomes
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Stay up-to-date with changes in PDPM regulations and ensure compliance
Requirements
- Full-time position with 40 hours/week commitment
- Regional MDS Nurse with experience in multi-facility oversight
- 3-5 years of MDS experience
- RN preferred, but LPN with experience considered
- RAC-CT preferred
- Strong understanding of the MDS process and ability to complete MDS assessments and care plans when needed
- Experience with PDPM regulations a must
