Regional MDS Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of MDS documentation, including assessments, care plans, and quality measures, to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete MDS data.
- Develop and implement process improvements to optimize MDS data accuracy, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of MDS assessments, care plans, and quality measures.
- Provide education and training to staff members on MDS documentation and implementation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services.
Requirements
- Must have a strong background in MDS coordination, preferably with experience in a long-term care setting.
- Effective communication, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
