About the role

An expert in medical device payer reimbursement strategy, the Regional Manager, Field Reimbursement is a field-based member of the CVRx Reimbursement organization responsible for extending the CVRx reimbursement strategy into the field. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Reimbursement, this role serves as the regional reimbursement authority, partnering with healthcare providers and the commercial organization to navigate reimbursement complexity, improve patient access, and accelerate appropriate adoption of Barostim therapy. Working as the field extension of the Reimbursement organization, the Regional Manager translates enterprise reimbursement strategy into regional execution while providing valuable market intelligence back to the organization. Through trusted partnerships and deep reimbursement expertise, this role strengthens one of CVRx's most important strategic capabilities—ensuring reimbursement excellence becomes a competitive advantage for our customers and our business.

Responsibilities

  • Execute CVRx's reimbursement strategy across an assigned geographic region
  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert on reimbursement, coverage, coding, payment, prior authorization, appeals, and payer policy
  • Partner with customers to resolve complex reimbursement challenges and improve patient access
  • Identify reimbursement trends and recommend scalable solutions that strengthen enterprise strategy
  • Serve as the reimbursement partner to Commercial Leadership, Territory Managers, Clinical Specialists, and cross-functional business partners
  • Support strategic customer engagements where reimbursement expertise is critical to therapy adoption
  • Educate commercial teams on reimbursement trends, payer changes, and market dynamics
  • Partner across the organization to ensure reimbursement strategy supports commercial execution while maintaining compliance
  • Build strong relationships with physicians, health systems, coding and billing professionals, and reimbursement stakeholders
  • Provide reimbursement insights that inform Market Access, Marketing, Customer Experience, Clinical, and Commercial Leadership
  • Share best practices and market intelligence that strengthen reimbursement capabilities across the organization
  • Represent the Reimbursement organization in regional business reviews and strategic planning activities

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum seven years of progressive medical device reimbursement, market access, patient access, or payer strategy experience within the medical device OEM or MedTech therapeutic medical device space
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting commercial and government reimbursement
  • Strong knowledge of coverage, coding, payment, prior authorization, and appeals
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting cardiovascular or implantable medical device therapies
  • Previous field reimbursement or market access leadership experience
  • Experience working within a high-growth commercial medical technology organization

Working conditions

  • This is a remote, field-based position reporting to the Senior Vice President of Reimbursement
  • Regular travel throughout the assigned region (approximately 50-70%) is expected
  • Periodic travel to CVRx headquarters in Minneapolis is required for leadership meetings, training, planning sessions, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. safely

Pay

  • Salary range for U.S locations (USD): 197,000 - 230,000
  • In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for participation in our annual Corporate Bonus Plan (CBP) which provides the opportunity to earn additional compensation for the company's meeting established annual objectives and prorated based on earned annual base salary
  • The base salary range is applicable across the U.S., complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location
