About the Role
Oversee and optimize logistics operations with LEAN initiatives across multiple locations by coordinating transportation, inventory management, and warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient utilization of resources. Leverage PERI’s resources to lead, coach, and mentor Logistics teams, ensuring each team functions at the highest capacity while maintaining a Safety-First Culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support consistent with PERI’s leadership principles, mission, and values by setting clear expectations and performance goals for Logistics managers, yard and support teams, and materials management teams.
- Analyze and report on daily, monthly, and annual KPIs. Implement corrective actions, as needed, utilizing LEAN tools to ensure continuous improvements throughout all regional yards.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources while building and maintaining a strong safety-first culture.
- Oversee annual regional inventory and cycle counts while ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Safety teams) to align logistics activities with business objectives and customer needs.
- Oversee machinery and facility-related maintenance for all regional yards.
- Forecast hiring needs for regional Logistics teams and assist in effective people recruitment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating processes for the Logistics team to ensure efficient, effective, and safe operations within the yards.
- Provide insight and recommendations for regional and national Logistics strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with all corporate policies.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of logistics operations, identify areas for improvement, and execute corrective action plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred or equivalent years of proven experience, preferably in the construction or machinery rental industries, with a track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology/software.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven track record of exceptional leadership demonstrated through communication, coaching/developing, delegation, relationship building, ownership/responsibility, team results, decision making, and emotional intelligence.
- Financial: Strong ability to develop and execute against an annual operating plan and capital budget. Properly manage Logistics budgets, expenditures, and timelines.
- Strategic Thinker: Anticipates future scenarios and plans to achieve long-term logistic goals by focusing on setting objectives, developing plans, considering the broader impact of decisions, improving performance, and reducing costs while maintaining a safety-first culture.

- Attention to Detail: Thoroughly reviews work for errors, follows instructions, proofreads, and maintains accurate records.
- Experience in managing annual inventory, demand planning, and strategy implementation.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.

Pay
The allocated salary range for this position is $125,000.00 to $140,000.00.
