About the role
Anchor Loans is looking for a Regional Loan Originator who is passionate about the customer experience and focused on finding and nurturing strategic relationships. The Regional Loan Originator is responsible for meeting specific loan production goals through the establishment of on-going business relationships with real estate investors located within a specified territory and should expect travel to conferences and client meetings. The role involves working with sales and operations teams to support customers throughout the loan cycle, from lead through closing.
To effectively support the assigned territory, the Regional Loan Originator must reside in the Eastern Region, with hiring focused on the following states: GA, MA, NJ, PA, and major metropolitan cities.
Responsibilities
- Identify new customers and lending opportunities with property investors and/or referral partners like brokers, realtors, builders, and other referral sources.
- Drive sales and build relationships with property investors, brokers, and real estate agents from various sources including company leads, referrals, and industry events.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and new potential borrowers via in-person meetings, calls, emails, and other means; serve as the primary escalation point to resolve customer issues and roadblocks.
- Develop and maintain a client database in the CRM for effective contact management and customer relationship management.
- Reach out to existing and new customers regularly to stay informed about industry trends and maintain visibility to build relationships and sell.
- Attend industry events and conferences, leveraging pre-planning, onsite meetings, and post-outreach to find and convert leads.
- Leverage CRM marketing campaigns to nurture and stay in contact with all customers.
- Evaluate transactions using standardized tools to size deals, create quotes, and prepare term sheets.
- Work with the Sales and Marketing team to identify potential business sources to meet monthly loan volume goals.
- Facilitate the borrower approval process by collecting and providing necessary information for loan submission.
- Pre-qualify loan packages when borrowers or brokers require assistance.
- Work directly with potential borrowers to obtain initial documentation.
- Monitor pipeline reports to determine the status of all loans and act to alleviate potential problems.
- Grow the Anchor Loans brand and your personal brand through blog posts, online posts, and marketing strategies.
- Maintain constant and transparent dialogue with customers to keep them informed about loan status.
- Create strong partnerships with Valuations, Construction, and Underwriting Department Leaders; provide overall loan pipeline prioritization and collaborate to solve interdepartmental roadblocks.
- Stay up to date on industry and competitor trends to inform product, sales, and/or pricing strategies.

- Experience with CRM is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Pay
$75,000/year + commission
