About the role

As a Learning Regional Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience and performance of our fulfillment center associates. You'll lead training initiatives, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategic learning and development (L&D) solutions across multiple sites.

A typical day includes analyzing performance metrics, leading Weekly Business Reviews, meeting with site leadership to drive grocery-specific improvements, coaching managers and supervisors, auditing new hire orientations, and ensuring ambassador programs run smoothly across multiple locations. The role requires frequent travel between sites and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels to enhance learning initiatives and site performance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive site performance through deep analysis of metrics, providing actionable insights and solutions to leadership teams
  • Lead and optimize new hire onboarding processes, including trainer program management and training delivery
  • Develop and implement learning strategies to improve operational efficiency and associate development
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive performance improvements through data-driven decisions
  • Monitor and enhance training effectiveness across multiple processes and roles
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to site leadership on learning and development best practices
  • Develop reporting mechanisms that measure the effectiveness of training to aid in assurance and process improvement
  • Maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand execution pain-points and opportunities, translating them into learning solutions that improve performance
  • Demonstrate excellent people management and learning facilitation skills

About the team

You will be joining a dynamic team that supports Amazon Fresh fulfillment centers in North America. The team is a close-knit group of learning professionals collaborating daily to develop talent and drive operational excellence in grocery operations. Team members share best practices, work on cross-market initiatives, and support each other through weekly touchpoints and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Math, Engineering, Science, or Business
  • Experience focused on Adult Learning Theory, including:
    • Virtual training facilitation and dealing with remote teams
    • Delivering Soft Skills, Technology Skills, and/or Technical or Systems training
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience in fulfillment center (FC) field operations settings

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, adapting quickly to changing circumstances, processes, and priorities
  • Ability to influence leaders at all levels to understand their role in employee development and help build their skills
  • Experience in change management and process improvement activities, designing scalable solutions, and implementing quickly

Pay

The base salary range for this position is:

  • 78,000.00 - 120,900.00 USD annually (IL, MI, MN (Golden Valley), OH (Columbus, West Chester), TN (Maryville))
  • 70,200.00 - 108,800.00 USD annually (TN, Nashville)
