Regional League Development Manager
About the role
The Regional League Development Manager will oversee the league and tournament business within their respective regions. This role involves facilitating the fulfillment of regional goals and company initiatives, working closely with center League Champions, and managing various aspects of league operations.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate fulfillment of regional goals and company initiatives.
- Work directly with center League Champions to manage league lane grids, InTouch Checklist, competitor visits, setting goals, building daily/weekly action plans, holding Champions and centers accountable through weekly visits, training, and development.
- Develop, retain, and recruit existing and new bowlers and leagues.
- Play an active role in region’s Fall/mid-season/Summer outreach.
- Visit leagues throughout their respective region.
- Attend League Officer meetings and individual league meetings.
- Collect Open House dates for their respective region.
- Collaborate with each center’s League Champion/GM/DM to identify opportunity days to grow leagues and have knowledge of League Retention and Acquisition funds.
- Be more aware of market conditions with the competition and respond accordingly.
- Complete weekly reporting.
- Attend District Manager weekly calls.
- Mentor one new manager each month in their respective region.
- Build a strong working relationship with local & state associations to bring tournaments back into our centers.
- Partner with each center’s Pro Shop operators for promotions, league incentives, repairs, and attend monthly league initiatives.
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly calls with League Champions.
- Conduct quarterly League Champion meetings.
- Audit revenue reports.
- Expected League Revenue Report Prize Fund Exception Report.
Requirements
Regional League Development Manager must possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) required. 3-5 years related experience preferred, equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Qualifications
Must be located in Southeastern United States.
