Regional Leader needed in King County with HCA CNA Certification.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and position yourself for great personal and career growth. You will start by being trained by current Caregivers as a backup for each of their Clients. Simultaneously, you will lead Caregiver recruitment, our #1 priority for the King County region. You will report to and work directly with the two Co-Founders and be groomed for future promotion opportunities. As the team grows, you’ll expand into marketing, sales, or another area that fits your skillset. This role combines the excitement of a startup with the financial stability of an established firm.
You must have a driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable car. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. You will be backed by our 24-hour support staff.
Responsibilities
- Start with Caregiver duties:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
- Act as a backup Caregiver
- Move into recruitment duties:
- Identify the best sources for Caregiver recruitment
- Use our software to post ads and process applications
- Conduct interviews, hiring, and onboarding
- Retain great Caregivers
- Finish with marketing/sales duties:
- Attend local networking events
- Establish yourself as a trusted industry member
- Attain referrals from area hospitals, clinics, and other sources
- Increase the number of service hours weekly
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Home Care Aide or CNA program
- One year of prior professional experience
- Driver’s license required
- CPR certification required
- Growth mindset and alignment with servant leadership principles
- Willingness to take on caregiving shifts while building the team
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
