About the role
CodeGreen is seeking a Regional Leader to launch and grow our presence in the Greater Boston market. This role will lead market entry efforts, establish local operations, and drive sustained growth with an initial focus on Code and Sustainability services, expanding into additional service lines over time. The Regional Leader will serve as the primary regional point of coordination, working closely with service line leaders across Environmental, Code, Sustainability, Fire & Life Safety, Inspections, and Building Science to deliver integrated solutions to clients throughout New England.
Responsibilities
- Lead the launch and growth of CodeGreen’s Greater Boston presence, including market strategy and execution.
- Establish and scale regional operations, including staffing plans and operational infrastructure.
- Identify priority market segments and develop targeted growth strategies.
- Build a strong and sustainable project pipeline.
- Lead regional business development efforts and establish long-term client relationships.
- Identify and pursue opportunities across commercial real estate owners, developers, institutions, and public sector clients.
- Represent the firm in industry organizations and professional networks.
- Position CodeGreen as a trusted technical and strategic advisor in the region.
- Align and grow CodeGreen’s broader New England presence by coordinating existing operations into a cohesive regional platform.
- Serve as the primary regional coordination point across service lines.
- Lead multi-service project pursuits in partnership with service line leaders.
- Ensure consistent client experience across services and teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in building consulting, engineering, code consulting, sustainability consulting, or a related professional services field.
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
- Experience working with commercial real estate owners, developers, or institutional clients.
- Experience leading projects or teams in a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of the Greater Boston real estate and development market.
- Proven ability to operate independently and build new initiatives.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching or growing a new office, region, or service line.
- Experience managing P&L or revenue targets.
- Existing professional network in the Greater Boston market.
- Professional credentials such as PE, RA, CEM, LEED AP, WELL AP, or equivalent.
- Experience working across multiple technical disciplines.
- Familiarity with building codes, sustainability frameworks, or building performance consulting.
