About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing efficient transportation solutions and improving urban mobility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic flow optimization strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and design sustainable transportation systems
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform policy and project development
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in traffic planning and design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Professional certifications in traffic engineering or related fields preferred
- Experience working in urban environments
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles
- Experience with traffic modeling and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
