Senior Project Manager - Structures
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager - Structures to join our dynamic team. This role involves directing and coordinating work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle, from development & initiation to close-out. You will be responsible for large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
- Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
- Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
- Cookstaff and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
- Implement QA/QC procedures
- Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree
- PMP certification
- Candidates with prior experience with agencies such as NJDOT, NJTAP preference given to local candidates
- Previous Experience with an A/E/C firm
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- A minimum 5 years project management experience
- Absolutely requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree, PMP certification, experience with agencies such as NJDOT, NJTAP, previous experience with an A/E/C firm, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 5 years project management experience, professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
Skills
MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus), demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills, an attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
