About the Role

Drive meaningful change by leading and coordinating strategic IT and business transformation initiatives across the Americas. Play a key role in projects that improve operations, enable growth, and strengthen competitive advantage. Help bring innovative ideas to life through technology, process improvement, and organizational change.

Influence without boundaries by collaborating with business leaders, IT Business Partners, technical teams, and external partners worldwide. Build trust-based relationships and align diverse stakeholders around common goals. Lead cross-functional teams, inspiring progress and accountability regardless of reporting structure.

Turn complexity into clarity by creating structure, transparency, and momentum across multiple projects and priorities. Manage scope, timelines, risks, and resources while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged. Drive decisions, remove obstacles, and ensure initiatives stay on track.

Grow your leadership impact by taking ownership of regional and global initiatives with increasing responsibility over time. Partner closely with senior leaders across business and IT functions. Build a broad understanding of operations and become a trusted advisor for key transformation efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, IT consulting, IT business partnering, or a related role.
  • Broad understanding of corporate IT, including infrastructure, applications, ERP systems, data, or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive outcomes in matrix organizations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage technical and business audiences alike.
  • Practical, hands-on problem solver who can quickly understand new challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience within industrial manufacturing, engineering, life sciences, or other operationally focused environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Schedule

This role includes approximately 30% travel, including visits to Heraeus locations throughout the United States and internationally. Periodic travel to the global headquarters in Hanau, Germany is also expected.
