About the role

We sell our products and services to clients whose business has a significant impact on the financial performance of the Broker Dealer teams' goals. You will apply your understanding of clients' business to serve as an advisor on multiple product offerings ranging across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Own new business development to strategic, high-profile prospects.
  • Identify and qualify prospects, develop a “trusted advisor” relationship, and influence them to adopt recommended and outstanding solutions.
  • Afford an environment that will allow you to have an in-depth knowledge of assigned clients, their sensitivities, and their business needs to efficiently influence their decision-making.
  • Coordinate sales opportunities for assigned clients across T. Rowe Price as necessary.
  • Provide an environment that will allow you to have an in-depth knowledge of assigned clients, their sensitivities, and their business needs to efficiently influence their decision-making.
  • Contribute to the overall relationship management strategy and delegate tasks to ensure successful client relationship performance.
  • Develop new leads with large, complex clients and pitches new opportunities.
  • Be a guide for standard methodologies, new regulatory requirements, industry trends, and competitor services/offerings throughout the firm.
  • Partner with business leaders you will bring an understanding of primary sales issues and gaps in order to develop strategies to improve performance.
  • Establish a technical approach to analytical work within sales and relationship management and analyze highly complex data, trends, plan changes, and strategies to keep up to date with sales/relationship performance.
  • Use significant influence, guiding client decision making on matters of high importance and significant financial risk.
  • Serve as chief negotiator and sales consultant to the most complex and key clients within their territory.
  • Develop new approaches and materials to facilitate improved activity to be rolled out across the business unit and potentially the enterprise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 10+ years of total relevant work experience
  • This role requires FINRA series 7 and 66 licenses

Preferred

  • Strong relationships with Wires, Independents, and Regional Broker Dealers
  • Working knowledge of Broker/Dealer product platforms
  • CFA, CFP, CIMA, or MBA

FINRA Requirements

  • FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for full time remote work.

Pay

$144,000.00 - $261,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers $144,000.00 - $261,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C. $144,000.00 - $261,000.00 for the location of: New York, California
