About the role

Working in our Investor Center, you will develop customized financial plans utilizing a wide range of products, services, and Fidelity’s planning tools. Your good judgment and keen product knowledge will guide you. Instead of spending your time sourcing new customers, you will engage with existing clients and warm leads, allowing your focus to remain where it matters most: providing investment solutions and growing relationships with a dedicated local advisor.

In this role, you will work directly with clients to help them make investment decisions that are in their best interest. By skillfully working with Fidelity’s planning and guidance resources, you will present and implement solutions that suit the client’s needs, developing a lasting impact on their financial future.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Fidelity’s guidance tools to facilitate financial planning discussions and recommend solutions that best align with client needs.
  • Use technology to prepare for and conduct efficient one-on-one appointments, maximizing client time and enabling effective follow-up planning.
  • Grow relationships through proactive outreach, seeking to understand clients’ goals and objectives and referring them to wealth management partners based on needs and financial complexity.
  • Take initiative and exceed expectations in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, OR ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various investment solutions and ability to educate customers on the values and differences of each.
  • Outstanding communication and consultative skills.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to grow relationships.
  • A degree, equivalent experience, or other professional certifications are beneficial (Fidelity’s tuition reimbursement program can help obtain a CFP, degree, or equivalent credential).

The Team

Fidelity’s greatest advantage is our people, and we believe it is important to approach life holistically. We offer a competitive total rewards package, including a stable base salary, to recognize associate achievements. Our benefit programs are built to help you and your family strike the right balance.

We offer training in-branch, regionally, nationally, and virtually to support you in all aspects of your business. You will not fail due to a lack of training or onboarding. Fidelity empowers professional flexibility, growth, and support, enabling long-term success for you and our clients.

Schedule

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $59,000 - $74,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. • Market-leading retirement benefits.
  • Generous paid time off and parental leave.
