Regional Installation Manager - Roofing

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one training and supervision to the Installation Manager and the Project Coordinator.
• Instruct the Installation Manager on installation procedures and processes at a regional level.
• Lead contract analysis, adhering to best practices for installation confirmation, and work with Managers weekly to improve this step.
• Create prep documents based on feedback from the payroll department to enhance efficiency.
• Manage ordering of materials, analyzing trends on the supply side to ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Schedule projects effectively, collaborating with Managers to implement best practices.
• Recruit and train subcontracted crews, focusing on finding, hiring, and retaining qualified sub-contractors.
• Ensure high-quality installations by developing best practices and training managers on maintaining strong workmanship standards across the region.
• Handle escalated incidents, attempting resolution at the regional level before escalating to demand letters.
• Collaborate with the legal team to file liens if necessary and manage collection efforts up to and including legal remedies.
• Communicate promptly with homeowners about service issues and warranty matters, keeping all services within 45 days.
• Report escalated service issues to the regional manager.
• Develop positive relationships with the Sales department, providing education and reviewing relevant installation and product information.
• Train the Installation Manager in person approximately 50% of the time, with the remaining time focused on virtual training and follow-up sessions.
• Plan site visits over 3-day increments, observing the Installation Manager on Day 1, training on new responsibilities on Day 2, and reinforcing training on Day 3.
• Ensure timely communication with homeowners regarding service issues and warranty items.
• Manage office development, including training administrative staff to support the Installation department.
