Regional Health & Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate safety and compliance programs/processes to all leadership levels, providing support to front-line leadership on matters related to occupational safety, environmental compliance, and loss prevention.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of safety inspections, compliance activities, and training certifications across multiple locations.
• Travel as necessary across assigned multi-state territory to fulfill safety oversight duties and ensure consistent application of safety standards.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma required.
• Experience: 1-3 years of Safety or Construction Experience.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations; Knowledge of safety auditing, accident investigation and reporting; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Familiarity with fire prevention programs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment (gaffs, safety harness and ladders) within maximum weight limitations.
• Ability to accurately measure distances using tapes or other measuring devices.
• Ability to carry, climb and operate extension ladder (approximately 32 ft. high and 90 pounds).
• Ability to climb poles using gaffs, hooks and climbing belt.
• Ability to walk over all types of terrain in all weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment.
• Office and field environment exposure with frequent travel between locations.
• Frequent/extended travel across multi-state territory.
• Exposure to moderate noise levels, dust, dirt, insects, rodents, pets, and cleaning solutions.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions at all times of day or night.
