Regional Field Manager

About the role

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) seeks a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to lead grassroots efforts in Alaska. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to AFP's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Alaska
• Motivate these leaders to advocate for change and connect them to training and resources
• Organize events to engage the public through various methods
• Keep activists motivated, educated, and active
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors

Requirements

• Passion for people and ability to build relationships quickly
• Understanding of state and federal public policy landscapes
• Self-motivation and organization skills
• Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, and/or political campaigns

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Flexible work schedule

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $50,000-$65,000 per year. Additional bonus compensation may be available.

Schedule

This role may require evenings and weekends.
