About the role
The New York State Unified Court System Office of Court Facilities is recruiting for three (3) positions in the Analyst Series. These positions will be filled in any of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicants selected: Management Analyst or Senior Management Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Working with OCA and judicial districts to identify space needs
- Locating potential leased space and conducting fair market analysis
- Assisting OCA architects with space design and build-out planning
- Negotiating lease terms with Counsel’s Office
- Preparing documentation for New York State control agency review
- Serving as UCS’s representative on construction build-out and related issues
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on facility operations throughout the lease lifecycle
- Frequent travel within the assigned region is expected
- Occasional travel will be required statewide
- Supporting UCS’s portfolio of municipality-owned buildings under applicable New York State Law and regulation, including Judiciary Law Sections 39 and 39-b
- Coordinating with municipalities and internal stakeholders on compliance, reporting, and operational facility needs
Qualifications
- Senior Management Analyst: One year in the Management Analyst title; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Management Analyst: One year in the Principal Court Analyst title; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay
- Base Salary: $110,853 + $4,920 Location Pay (NYC Only)
- Base Salary: $94,386 + $4,920 Location Pay (NYC Only)
Benefits
Prior project management, construction or facilities management, and lease negotiation/management experience is preferred.
