About the role

Location: Lagoon Creek Combined Cycle, North Region, Generation Projects and Fleet Services. Posting open: October 3, 2026; closes October 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. Relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance work and periodic checking of general operating conditions of electrical equipment.
• Support TVA generation construction projects and general generation maintenance work.
• Perform general maintenance and emergency repairs to main and auxiliary electrical equipment at the assigned home location and other generation assets, including main generators and exciters, motors, motor controls, station lighting, cranes, batteries, air‑conditioning equipment, and related plant and building equipment.
• Dismantle and assemble electrical equipment, renew parts, and adjust associated electrical components.
• Perform other work for which the incumbent is certified/qualified.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Five years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical and plant equipment (desired).
• Completion of a DOL‑certified electrician or TVA‑certified electrician training program.
• Maintain TVA‑required classroom or computer‑based electrical training and certifications.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position/essential job functions and home site access requirements.

Pay

Salary: $110,345
