Responsibilities
- Report to Area Coordinator (AC) each morning prior to the start of the work shift.
- Check in with AC before leaving for the day.
- Work the hours needed to complete assigned tasks for the day (8-hour shifts with the possibility of overtime).
- Be safety conscious and report safety concerns to the EHS Manager or AC.
- Uphold established quality and performance expectations.
- Maintain adequate production pace to meet required production schedules.
- Demonstrate willingness to teamwork to meet performance objectives.
- Ensure daily adherence to cleaning initiatives and help keep the work area organized.
- Demonstrate continuous willingness to learn and grow within the home-building facility.
- Demonstrate honesty in all situations.
- Adhere to all company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Electrical experience preferred.
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Ability to be on your feet (standing and/or walking) for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Ability to perform a job that includes but is not limited to repetitive stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling, and/or reaching overhead.
- Ability to safely handle and use various power tools and guns that range in weight from 1–5 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting all general physical demands of the job.
