Regional Education Specialist (Critical Care)
About the role
The Regional Education Specialist (Critical Care) - PER DIEM - Varied Shifts position at Saint Clare's Health is accountable for assuming leadership in the area of educational design, planning, implementation, and evaluation for Patient Care and Clinical Ancillary Services. Responsibilities focus on achieving goals within the domain of professional development and teaching/learning.
Responsibilities
- Assume leadership in educational design, planning, implementation, and evaluation for Patient Care and Clinical Ancillary Services.
- Lead in the development and delivery of educational programs and materials for staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.
- Evaluate educational initiatives and provide feedback to improve effectiveness.
Requirements
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of 5 years acute care experience.
- Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience.
- Master's preparation in nursing and/or education, or comparable graduate education.
- Ability to travel to a variety of Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
- Must be able to travel to a variety of Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis.
Skills
- Strong educational background in nursing or related field.
- Experience in critical care settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $55.50/Hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
