UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center includes a 49-bed inpatient hospital, 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and 9 Olympic fitness centers, with access to some of the most advanced therapy techniques and care available.
Oversight of 5 outpatient therapy clinic locations (Henderson, Carthage, Jacksonville, Rusk, and Whitehouse) with responsibility for approximately 16 to 19 FTEs across the region.
Responsibilities
The Regional Director serves as both a leader and practicing physical therapist, maintaining direct patient care responsibilities while supporting staffing needs, clinic operations, and team performance across assigned locations. The role requires regular travel between clinics to provide on-site leadership, coaching, operational support, and clinical oversight.
Additionally, the Regional Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards; developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures; promoting quality outcomes and patient experience initiatives; and partnering with organizational leadership to drive operational excellence, growth, and continuous improvement across outpatient therapy services.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
- 2 years’ experience as a licensed physical therapist.
- Current State of Texas License in PT.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience as a licensed physical therapist
- Leadership experience
