What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Practice Managers and local leaders to improve operational performance, team engagement, and patient experience
  • Support execution of each practice’s Value Creation Plan, including growth, staffing, scheduling, productivity, profitability, and patient retention priorities
  • Build trust with practice teams through consistent communication, transparency, problem-solving, and reliable follow-through
  • Coach and develop current and future clinic leaders, creating a culture where feedback, accountability, and psychological safety can coexist
  • Use data, financial insight, and sound judgment to identify opportunities and prioritize high-impact initiatives
  • Strengthen front desk and administrative operations so providers can work efficiently and patients receive a consistent, high-quality experience
  • Partner cross-functionally with Thrive leaders in operations, talent, finance, compliance, integration, and growth
  • Travel regularly to assigned practices to build relationships, understand local dynamics, and support execution

What You Bring

  • The strongest candidate will be an operations leader who can balance business discipline with emotional intelligence
  • You know how to move work forward without relying on authority alone, and you are comfortable influencing experienced practice leaders in a partnership-oriented environment
  • We are looking for someone with Physical Therapist credential strongly preferred; Occupational Therapist and Speech-Language Pathologist candidates with strong operations leadership experience will also be considered
  • 3-5+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience, ideally in outpatient physical, occupational, or speech therapy
  • Multi-site leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including comfort with clinic-level performance metrics and P&L management
  • Proven ability to build trust, coach leaders, and align teams around shared goals
  • Strong communication, judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience improving workflows, scheduling, staffing, patient retention, and front desk operations
  • Comfort working in a growing, evolving organization where each practice may require a different leadership approach
  • Clinical licensure or healthcare management certification is a plus, but not required
  • Ability and willingness to travel to practices as needed
