Regional Director of Operations
About the role
The Regional Director of operations will manage all aspects of the company's distribution centers in the assigned region including but not limited to; personnel, process, adherence to company policy, safety, adherence to regulatory policy, quality, staffing, strategic planning, and constant improvement.
Provide insight and expertise guiding annual expense budget and manpower requirements to DC managers.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Business/Logistics/Supply Chain or other related
- 10+ years of prior warehouse experience
- 7+ years of leadership and team management experience
- Deep understanding of standard technical systems including WMS and ERP systems
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency, and safety
- “Roll-up” your sleeves leader with the ability to collaborate, interact and communicate at all levels of the organization
- Excellent team-building and coaching skills
- Strong values and a bias for action in decision-making
- Able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Proven track record of being an effective leader in a fast-paced, high-volume organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements

Skills
Manage the company’s overall shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and warehouse maintenance functions.
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
Manage OSHA and safety compliance.
Accountable for budget and P&L of the Warehouse Division.
Assist DC managers develop and maintain a work environment which promotes employee inclusion, recognition, and defective communication.
Develop operating strategies to manage future growth, improve quality and reduce operating cost.
Identify problem areas and work with DC managers and their teams to provide solutions that will continue to raise performance level.
Promote open, honest communications between departments and across functions within the distribution centers as well as with internal customers and those outside the distribution centers.
Audit, evaluate and negotiate operational expenses to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
Interface with other departments to increase efficiencies and foster teamwork.

Pay
Salaried: $175k- $220k (based on experience)
Schedule
Full-time, exempt
Monday - Friday (w/ some Saturdays depending on business needs)
Remote - w/ frequent travel to Distribution Sites (50%)
